    This legendary 1930s Art Deco style Dalston cinema opened as the Kingsland Empire in 1915. The venue was given a makeover and reopened as the Classic in 1937. It became the Rio in 1976 and is now one of the few genuinely independent movie houses in London. This Art Print would make a lovely gift for all cinema and Hackney lovers! This illustration comes as part of a series, to add to your collection.
